"or getting them into JEDEC to make the technology public domain." Whoa! Who is the devious one here. Were the JEDEC boys going to explain to Rambus about how they were "inviting" them into JEDEC so they could then claim their IP was public domain? I am sure they spelled all this out clearly to the "great menace".
