I don't have to read past your first sentence to know you have no clue about Sun's business model. It was NOT "fueled by the .com phenomenon." That whole sector was a small part of their business at its peak. You're on the wrong wavelength, Addi. You come a little closer with telecomm, but did you see the recent Lucent announcement? Show me where I can get a practically brand new Sun server at half price. I assume by making it a 36" TV, you're implying that the purported problem is at the high end. So show me where I can get _even one_ E10000 at half price (not that I could afford it, even so!). Pretend for a minute I'm from Missouri (some of my ancestors probably were, so why not?).
