El-- some of those you mentioned may see even new highs but there will be a change of bells in some of the bellwethers. Where we disagree is not that he did not act fast enough (I even believe yesterdays 1/2 was correct) but that he caused the entire fiasco when he certainly should have known better. What is being done now is all that can be. We will see another 1/4 drop in Apr too. The fact remains he was a fool in his exuberence of RAISING rates. Rate drops ARE mkt positive and would have been required but not in a belated panic. Maybe I see the effects on those that retired on enough to last 2 lifetimes until he began his debacle. The man committed a very serious and extremely stupid act that only others are paying for! Until there is reason to believe earnings will change a few months out the mkts will remain in the toilet,,, the mkts move 1st and thats the only plus!
