LOL. Carl managed to find in thirty pages of transcript the only thing positive for Inf. and all it was was a very lame claim by its attorney that the documents actually helped their position. I don't think so. In that transcript this obviously very smart judge picked right up on the meaning of all that had happened and not happened and virtually told the Rambus attorney how to conduct the deposition of the Inf. execs. Read it. It is important. He is laying out the pathway for the attorneys to question in areas he is signaling he will not support objections to later. When a judge lays out a path like this, he is sending a clear signal that he is not a happy guy with the other side and he just wants to be sure Rambus' lawyer don't miss the bread crumb trail being laid out.

Also, note the reference to amending the pleadings. Count on it. New charges will be filed and the judge will allow it.

The transcript is great reading. Carl, don't just publish the parts you like...publish the whole thing.

By the way, Inf.'s attorney did an o.k. job with absolutely no leg to stand on.

It is a whole new ball game.
