george, I have Georgia Power at work and TVA power at home. TVA is even less than Georgia Power because of its large hydro system and lower interest government bond financing.

This economy runs on energy and that is just too important to entrust to the whims of supply/demand economics because it takes years to build out the infrastructure. Maybe we pay a penny or so per kwh to overbuild in the Southeast, but the consequences of underbuilding are much higher as is now being demonstrated in California.
