OT - Special Announcement for panda fans: The story of the birth and survival of Hua Mei, our favorite giant panda cub born at the World-Famous San Diego Zoo in August 1999, is the focus of an upcoming NATURE special on PBS. The hour-long program, narrated by actor Matthew Modine, airs nationally on PBS stations at 8 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, April 1 (check local listings). "The Panda Baby" captures all the drama of Hua Mei's birth and survival against the odds.
