announced a Spanish-language version of its device-independent platform and
suite of applications. These new services may be integrated with InfoSpace's

Today's announcement comes on the heels of Cingular Wireless' announcement
yesterday

launched its new Spanish-language Portal, "Mi Ventana Movil." InfoSpace will
provide the platform and applications for the new service, and StarMedia will
provide Spanish language content, community applications and Hispanic marketing
expertise. Cingular's Mi Ventana Movil brings on-demand services including
calendar, address book and email to Cingular wireless subscribers throughout the
U.S. and Puerto Rico. Shopping, promotions and discounts, and instant messaging
capabilities will be available to Cingular subscribers in the second quarter of
the year.

InfoSpace's Spanish-language offering delivers a wide range of the services and
applications that have made InfoSpace the choice among a majority of the leading
wireless carriers in the U.S. for the roll out of mobile data and information
services. InfoSpace's platform includes personalized information and
communication services such as a fully integrated address book, calendar, to-do
list e-mail and instant messaging; location-based commerce services that allow
