That is "better" for the Japanese government & holders of gold stocks. When a government works to move a currency that engineering is called "intervention", when done by private parties & or companies, it is called "manipulation", when a government(all or in part) is acting in concert with select private parties & or companies with information not available to the broad market that engineering is also called "manipulation" & the term "conspiracy" can correctly be added.
