Don't agree Zoltan! I am against gov't regulation for the most part, but it seems to work for the power companies. I have only experienced the situation in CA as I have not live in any other state. Worked much better before the half assed attempt at deregulation. Affordable, consistent, predictable. That is how it was before (and how it should be), and PGE/Cal Edison made good profits and treated their shareholders well. Maybe it is just that CA did the de-regulation poorly, but it was much better before. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
