It seems to me that the only meaningful date to assign would be the date you either really bought the stock or the date you thought the stock might be a good buy, so that you could keep track of how good a decision you made. I don't rate any of these stocks a "buy" at the moment, except maybe RADN and GILTF, because the last time I checked they were the only one with positive earnings. However, the economy is so shaky right now and I'm all cash, so the hypothetical portfolio is cash, too. -g-

Eventually there may come a time when I think these companies are good buys, and I plan to assign prices then.
