It's an historical chart, going back to 1971, so includes the last few crashes.

We've fallen back into the historical channel, delineated by the green lines. I think I understand now why the 1655 resistance is important, as a rise through that increases the likelihood that the COMPX will approach the upper lines of the channel again. I think. <g>
