I suppose we can debate what is evil, but do you really think our policy wasn't aggressive? What about cluster bombs dropped in the marketplace? Or the train taken out as it crossed the bridge? Or the centuries old Christian churches that were destroyed? (It'd be nice to see the outrage over this that the destruction of the Buddhist statues created)

I didn't say our policy didn't cause death and destruction but that does not make it aggressive. It was intended to protect one group that was being attacked by another. That makes it defensive. It may be misguided, even stupid. It may cause death and destruction. It may be a bad policy, but I think it is a stretch to call it aggressive.
