If XOM is any proxy (and I think it is...) then the street is definately fleeing the patch. XOM breaking down here making a new short term low. UGLY chart. askresearch.com Longer chart askresearch.com Wouldn't suprise me to see 70 again. Don't know what that correlates to on the XOI. Could bounce soon as it's oversold (OBV), but ultimately it looks like it'll continue to trend down. I'll be pretty difficult for the OSX to stay even let alone make new highs if XOM and the XOI continue to break down.
