There is no excuse for conditions getting this bad. What's bad? Stocks, particularly the Nasdaq 100, are still selling at absurdly high prices, whether measured as multiples of book price, of earnings, or of growth rates. And if you prefer multiples of forward earnings, as so many New Era speculators do, then it's even worse because we're in a recession and earnings will be decreasing for a while. This absurd evaluation WILL be corrected. Dave
