<<Are you aware that there are regulations AGAINST horseback deep in the forest as well? >> YES, most of the forests, damn-it!! I think you will find while NRA is overall friendly to full use of the national forests, they will come out more one the side of protecting firearms ownership, less on protection of hunting - again damn-it.
Only the last couple of years has the NRA come around to more near(IMHO) where they need to be, in times past they have been far to willing to compromise away our rights one step at a time. Yes, I'm a proud renewed member of the radical arm of the NRA!
<<the gov't WANTS the horses to stay ON the roads, but the road don't exist anymore.>>
This is because many of the environmental & "outdoors" lobby are such wussies(excuse the term) they hate to step in horse manure during hikes. My wonder is why Elk,deer, big-horn sheep, or bear dung is OK but not horse dung?
<<...I'm having one helluvatime teaching Ole #9...but then he's an ass in the genuine meaning of the term. Or perhaps he's colorblind on the left side...(you know...the eye closest to the yellow line>>
Have you considered mounting curb feelers at ground level on his(her?)right side to help in training him to hold to the right side of the road? :) (hehehehe) Sorry, forgot,I'm sure while some parts of Washington would like this you'd run afoul of the animal rights types.
btw, have you emailed your Senator / Congreessman yet asking them they require Corzine to dump his shares of GS or resign his seat in the senate? |
