The selling I have seen for the past few weeks has been coming from Datek and ETrade market makers - do the japanese have these accounts?

IMHO it has been poor sheep tossing in the towel. Sheep have been Ram-Bussed while contestants of the BSG have been winning fabulous cash prizes to take the risk.

Will keep your scenario in mind though. Sometimes you have to slap and run.
