I would agree that end-user demand for consumer electronic devices is probably a better leading indicator of semi equip sales than DRAM inventories, since the latter may be attenuated by DRAM production cuts. MU denied "throttling back" DRAM production yesterday while acknowledging that it changed the product mix toward more flash and SRAM. Makes me wonder what "is" is.
