Doug : Looks like I really pulled your chain that time. I certainly trod on your tail. Ouch!
Let me tell you here and now that if Uncle Bill and his machinations can make one iota of difference to the gold price or to the employment of blacks in Africa or whatever, I will be the first to come on this forum and shout out his name in acclaim. So far, I haven't seen anything --- except a lot of words.
As regards President Mbeki, let me tell here and now that no-one in South Africa (other than his ANC stooges) has any regard for him what-so-ever. In fact, to say that he was held in contempt by many/most South Africans would not be an understatement. So, if Uncle Bill (or you) feels that anyone important is going to be the slightest bit concerned about what Mbeki thinks, then Uncle Bill (or you) must think again.
As regards Paramount, Royal, His Majesty, His Grace, Zulu King Zweletini, let me tell here and now that no-one in South Africa (other than his Zulu stooges) has any regard for him what-so-ever. In fact, to say that he was held in ridicule by many/most South Africans would not be an understatement. So, if Uncle Bill (or you) feels that anyone important is going to be the slightest bit concerned about what Zweletini thinks, then Uncle Bill (or you) must think again.
I can imagine that Mbeki could be impressed by GATA. He has already stated that AIDS in Africa is the result of a white conspiracy, so why not a gold conspiracy. His whole agenda is to blame the monumental balls-up which the ANC has made on whites, the West, colonials and capitalism. Mbeki loves conspiracy stories, especially after 10am when he doesn't know if he's Arthur or Martha. They say he's a true yes man, and his closest confidants are Johnny Walker and Jack Daniels! |
