YZ- Well that's a pretty interesting prediction. The only places fiber is used in the last mile is for DSL rollouts to remote cabinets (fiber run from CO to RT) AND the "F" part in HFC network. Since a large majority of cableco networks are already HFC(upwards of 70%) one wonders how Corning expects 40% growth in LM fiber? Could they possible expect FTTH (fiber to the home) or FTTB (fiber to the building) to increase dramatically? If so, that's news to me as I have not run across any predictions showing strong growth in this area.

Overall a puzzling prediction. I'll post to the LMT to see if anyone has guesses over there. -MikeM(From Florida)
