Morning Allan - yes it was an impressive reversal though I suspect a lot of it was short covering.

Agree with what you have posted as to the bottom not necessarily being in place; however, keep in mind that bear rallies can be very powerful and are almost intended to draw people into the long side so that they can be trounced again during the next sell-off.

I shall use this rally to gradually establish a few short positions as stocks reach resistance - assuming that the rally has some staying power.
