I called 38 last sept for end of may, so how could that call be too late.

Frog, If that was your call, you did pretty well. The shorts have made the money in this market for months now at the expense of the longs.

I am just wondering if that has run its course. I tend to believe that the next few days will prove that it has. Time for the long side even if it just for a couple of months.

BTW--MSFT earnings won't be a surprise and neither will their outlook. If they just remain cautious without taking down numbers, stocks goes up. If they take down numbers for the future but not much lower than what Sherlund put out, the stock stabilizes and moves with the Nasdaq. Anything worse than that, the elevator might be stopping at the 41st floor as you had put it.
