WLD: OT: Here's a snippet close to your heart (courtesy of Trader Mike on the "2001 Financial Collapse" thread): thetimes.co.uk Seems like (at least some) of the big houses are now going to have their analyst reports and recommendations vetted not only by their own investment banking groups (a practice strenuously denied in the past but that we all know goes on), but also by the very companies they're putting out the report on. Strange that I haven't seen this reported in the WSJ or NYT - maybe the US financial press doesn't want to go near this touchy subject? David T.
