In South Park they had a scientist who was creating two-assed monkeys. I don't think they ever explained "why". I took tennis lessons as a kid and never got past "bad" - gave it up as soon as I could when a teenager. Not my skill, I guess. Nowadays, it wouldn't be good for my knees, not that biking is that great for me today (recovering from a bit of "road rash", er, "trail rash"). Had my first spill in 7000 miles. Fortunately I didn't get hurt. I was going down a cattle trail that was rutted and my tire got stuck in a rut and I got pitched. Then I got up and did it again. It was too steep and narrow. Shouldn't have been there.
