WaveRider Communications Inc., a global provider of fixed wireless Internet
access products, will commercially launch the LMS3000, the world's first
non-line-of-sight fixed wireless network, at the International Wireless
Communications Expo (IWCE), March 28-30, 2001, at the Las Vegas Convention
Center.
The LMS3000, now in commercial use in North America, is the newest addition to
WaveRider's Last Mile Solution(R) (LMS) family of products, which provides ISPs,
CLECs and carriers a rapid, scalable and low-cost means of deploying high-speed
Internet services. WaveRider will also exhibit other LMS family products as well
as its Network Communications Link (NCL) wireless bridge/router throughout the
IWCE 2001 event.
Charles Brown, WaveRider's Vice President, Sales and Marketing, will host a
demonstration of the LMS3000 at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 29. Visitors to
IWCE can test the LMS3000 from the model home office within the WaveRider booth
(Booth #587).
