Mar 21, 2001 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Visit thecoveredcall.com Avici (NASDAQ: AVCI) announced that it is has deployed the world's first terabit router 12-24 months ahead of competitors Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) and Juniper Networks (NASDAQ: JNPR).
Currently CSCO owns 64%+ of the router market and JNPR 34%, but existing router capacity using their products is filling up. Customers may now turn to next generation terabit routers which AVCI owns with a 100% market share.
The biggest problem with AVCI business model is the existing tech slump which clouds the news of its terabit router coup.
