Is this the kind of comment you consider germain to thread topic. Its not just that you don't practice what you preach, Solon. On all occassions you have drawn first blood, although, you sometimes try to hide behind the intelligence of the quotes of others to deny it.

You've attempted to tell me how to sit in my chair, what words I can and can not use to make a point, what kind of behavior I need to have sitting in my chair, and to what level I can or cannot express my opinions. Here are a couple of simple facts and helpful advice for you:
1) Respect is earned not commanded, at least on an SI thread. You have failed miserably in that area. Giving me dictates, and assuming a role to give comeuppance to people isn't helping.
2) You are a control freak and like most control freaks its because you don't feel you can't get a handle on it in your personality. This works if you are managing resources, which you are not here. It also works if you want to write a book. Make sure no one is allowed to submit decenting opinions in the process. Make your students (if you can get any) buy the book and pass exams on their ability to understand it the way you want them to.
...(just a sec. I gotta clean the goo from between my big toe and the next one...there now gotta wipe it off on the keyboard so I can type..bet you can't type with your toes...there we go, now where was I? oh yeah).
3) You are a pathetic dork IMO.
