Some people, most people even, have a social gloss which they call "niceness". But inside they hate blacks, or homosexuals, or Jews, or whatever- and whenever they can find someone of like mind they will "joke" or talk not so very nicely about whatever group it is they dislike or even "hate". I, on the other hand, dislike many individuals- but the only group I dislike is the group of the intolerant- which is a teeny bit hypocritical, because I am intolerant of the intolerant. Don't think I don't recognize that, I do.
I delight in not having to put on a mask on SI. I delight in being able to say to a man joking about rape (oh yes- rape and MUDER in one case, or child molestation) that that is SUCKY behavior and I despise it. In 3d you just have to let people talk shit and smile about it. That is, imo, the real aberration. I can understand why you might like it that way, considering what you talk about- how can I ever forget your "humorous" account of the train that was pulled on some poor girl at St John's? That was not an aberration for you. I suppose, considering what Neo said about himself and his "buds" that that sort of talk may not be an aberration- but I sure wish it were. |
