He has no choice but to run. He's like a toddler who runs out from behind the sofa, waves his toy gun at the bigger kids, and quickly scoots back behind the sofa. He has no ammunition, but needs the attention so much it's worth it to him to make a fool of himself shooting blanks. Sometimes he cries and runs to Daddy.
