The NDX net short position also dropped very substantially, down 40% or so. Still at nearly -9k short it's still at the very high end of the range -- about what it was 3 or 4 weeks ago.

Since we rallied, sort of, after these positions are reported, it's hard to know how much more was covered late this week.
