skeeter, your point is well taken. but long term, if you chart the lines and ignore the bumps, chairs are being added and added and added - however gradually - as compared to the last couple years, or even the 90s.

what it really speaks to, if you want to benefit maximally, given the nation's tax structure and the wild volatility of late, is having an investment strategy in place that can take advantage of the gradual accumulation of chairs over the long term, and can ignore the frenetic seat swapping in between. needless to say, i am still working on that.
