I'm still looking for a short term mechanical system to place inside Dahl or another secondary trend type indicator that improves its' results. The only thing that I've found that works sometimes is S/R. I think I can reliably say that the profitability of S/R is very user and experience dependent. Every time I test the short term indicators, either as stand alone or embedded as mentioned above, they simply don't measure up to the straight forward longer term systems. This is not directed at any particular system. I'm not looking to debate "what kind of trader are you", "need to trade", "mechanical vs. non-mechanical", "theory", or anything like that. I'm simply trying to improve on the types of indicators that I'm drawn too. I have been through many systems, both posted and dreamed up to no avail. Any suggestions? David Is the book going to be on 8 x 11 sheets or smaller?
