Let us spend our energies on the "CNBC-critique" board making programming suggestions (ie. more Fleck, less humor on Squawk, can you ask this question Ted, Ron is always bearish, you're playing stupid commercials, what about gold, etc.), rather than criticizing other people's judgement calls.
This would be an excellent suggestion, if one were to know what the best programing solution for CNBC would be. Some of the on air personalities are more animated than others. Are they your favorites, or do you prefer the calm, mild mannered characters?
Do you like the charming disposition of a Sue Herra, or the inflexible straightforwardness of Mark Haines? In short there is no one individual who will satisfy every viewer.
No one analyst will be able to influence or convert a viewer who has made up their mind about which way this market is headed. Some have given ridiculous advice for a precipitous rise in the coming year, while others express an attitude that the world is heading into another depression..
Which is right???? Watch and see and you make up your own mind, but remember we are all individuals and we like different types. |
