The Murdock Group Announces Substantial Revenue Increase First Quarter
SALT LAKE CITY, Mar 23, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Murdock Group Holding Corp. (OTC BB: TMGS chart, msgs), Friday announced details of first quarter revenue increases.

With the first quarter almost completed The Murdock Group announced today that it has booked over $250,000 in revenue to date during the quarter and that it expects to post more than $300,000 in sales for the quarter ending March 31, 2001. This is an 82 percent increase in sales over fourth quarter 2000 revenues of approximately $165,000.

The company expects to announce final operating results on or before April 16, 2001.

The company attributes the increase primarily to a renewed presence in the career market and a growing belief that The Murdock Group is nearing the completion of a restructuring that began in September 2000. The company's objective is to re-establish itself as a stable leader in career coaching in this region of the country.

KC Holmes, president and chief executive officer, noted, "We are very pleased that our market share is returning and that consumer confidence in our products is again growing. The last six months of our restructuring plan have been very challenging, and we are now beginning to see the benefits of our labors on the revenue side.

"We hope that the market will soon begin to reflect greater value in our stock to reflect our successful turnaround."
