John, help me out as I am not quite following your logic.
I believe the bottom is not in, but the direction (short term is unwinding of shoort spoos). How long this continues is the key. My guess is that it is a short term thing related to the huge tank we had as well as anticipation that Japan can prop itself up for book closing (it is the end of this month isn't it?).

My problem is the following statement in light of the fact that commercial spoos short interest is fallying quickly. That statement is inconsistent with your call "It's certainly not the be all and end all, but to me just another sign that the lows might not be in yet." , unless you think it is a short term change and not a long term change that is happening.

What am I missing?
