Yorikke, I understood the irony, and hypocrisy, involved in that article. I was just amplifying on what little amount of power wind mills actually contribute to the California power grid.

They would need well over 100,000 wind mills, with the consequent impact on scenic mountain passes(where most wind channels through) to the tune of about 1 acre per sited plant, AS COMPARED to maybe 50 to 100 acres for two nuclear facilities.

The entire envrionmental movement is schizophrenic, willing to put thousands of birds at risk and despoiling hundred of thousands of acres of pristine vista while the real environmental energy source is nuclear power.
