ot I believe etoys was under capitalized for a downturn. They went out and build a large warehouse and distribution system that they couldn't pay out. etoys would have worked if not for the large up front investments they made imo. Look at sharper image and the money they are pulling in from the web. It works and will work when more people feel comfortable using web and giving credit info. It's amazing how many people do not buy anything on the web because they are afraid to give their credit card over the web yet they do it every day elsewhere. Ps I do almost all of my shopping on the web . what a great service!
