The problem with Bush's tax plan, is that it doesn't accomplish what it tries, and is based on shaky predictions. I agree with the Rubin plan; $7 billion of stimulus this year and ~$30 billion next year are drops in the bucket in a $10 trillion economy. These cuts will do nothing to stimulate. At the same time, on the other end of the plan are fantasy numbers based on unprecedented growth. Let's cut the far end, and add to the near end, to get real and also give a true 'kick' to the economy.

Of course, the REAL need is to get the FF down to 3.5%...quick.
