I think someones got to determine the age appropriateness of such material. And don't think it is limited to the 'left' side and their views. Here is CA, my niece and nephew were also similarly 'assaulted' by views from the right. For example:

- My niece's 3rd grade teacher told them that Santa Claus did not exist, and that believing in him was demonic practice.

- My nephew's middle school science teacher instructed them on the 'evils' of creationism. He also described the evils of many things, including the movie The Sixth Sense (which is obviously anti-God because it includes ghosts).

Teachers should stick to the ciriculum, and not try to bend the kids to the left OR right. I expect my kids teachers to educate; my wife and I will instill our own ethics and choose the timing of such 'sensitive matters'.

By the way: I can't believe the condom one. I'd like to see some independent verification of that one.
