Hi Cos,

I wasn't sure anyone even read that CBOE data other than toscano and I. To me, the overall put/call ratio is what I keep my eye on, keeping a general running pattern in my mind (ie. is it increasing or decreasing). I also keep a close watch on the indices I'm trading that particular week, whether it be banking, retail, biotech, etc.

I watch the COT numbers as well as scan the activity specific to the strike I'm trading on each index.

I take all of this with a grain of salt, though. Since I trade front month options, fluctuations in the IV (internal volatility)of the option are important, as of course, is the general feel of the market.

On re-reading this, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm loath to get too specific in public, for fear that I'll cause someone else to get whipsawed.
