jc re:Vote NO The comp plan is not based on public popularity of corporate decision making. If it were you'd have to throw all de bums out(down Paul!) I vote yes as a discount to future performance of the company and it's return to shareholders on their investment. I see the public posturing an effective cat and mouse game with the Evil Empire that most recently caused them to release yet another product before it's time and create a lower performance bar for AMD products. Re:Hector; How can we really know at this point what his contribution has been so far and what impact his decisions will have. I have three observation points. 1: His MOT pedigree is strong and his timing WRT to leaving that ship showed good judgement. B: His public persona, speech / communication style sucks. Yet his lack of flair and monotone style plays against type WRT The Jerry Style; But I hold out little hope for improvement. III:He brought to AMD at great personal peril (notwithstanding that AMD has most likely covered his exposure) an apparently terrific CFO - NAMES ROBERT J.
