Ok, I'll try to forget that you share first names with Calvin "Way Back" Schiraldi...I think they named the gopher/home run/tater ball after his stint in Boston. Anyway, there's much gnashing of teeth by sportswriters, (most of whom are controversy-seeking TROUBLEMAKERS...though some are very good) and fair-weather fans, over the fortunes of the Red Sox this year. Worry not, I say. We will be ok, we will be competitive and that's about all you can ask. In the AL East we have to beat the Yankees or get into the playoffs via the wild-card. The first is possible,(after all we finished but two games behind the pinstripers last year) but not probable. The second is doable. I look forward to a fine season.
