Average YOY PC growth has been about 17%. From mid '99 to mid '00, YOY growth was about 30%, peaking at ~50% towards the end of that cycle. Now there are a bunch of pretty fast PC sitting on a lot of desks, it will take a while for the speed of current PC's to make those look very slow, and to motivate folks to upgrade.

When it happens, it should be an impressive growth spike. Can't come soon enough, as far as I'm concerned.
