fyo, OK, I defer to your knowledge. I just suspected that these changes might take place in large jumps and it may make for problems. If it has to jump to 500 from 1000 will it make one jump or 52 small ones, each 200ms = 10 seconds? this might lead to seeming paralysis, so it will probably assess the load and jump to the new speed all al once, in fewer steps. There must be some biult in avoidance of trivial jumps up/down 1 step, each wasting 200 MS That means if must accumulate and then decide to change to a lwoer speed in one jump and then decide not to move for some longer period, like 10-15 seconds to avoid too many 200 ms close together??
A 10 seconds surge in heat will not be a problem as it will occur after the first switch down.
