I don't believe that most Christians have anything against Santa Claus; this teacher was certainly an extreme example. But another American tradition under assault is Halloween. There are a lot of 'anti-Halloween' activities by religious right orgs, because they feel that Halloween promotes demonic ideas. Next it'll be the Easter Bunny...
