That's the first time I've seen anyone blame the teacher's unions for the fact that Bush lost the popular vote in November. "Crooked Democratic operatives", eh? As opposed to the wholy honest Republican operatives?

As far as I can tell, we're doing a pretty good job educating our best and brightest; it's the lower half of kids who are badly served.

If all the best and brightest go to private schools, the public schools will be left without political support. This is a rational fear, and I have not seen it answered by your reply or any other.
