As a long time lurker and holder of Ampex I have greatly appreciated the generally high quality of postings on this board, particularly from Hal. I have recently been tempted to average down by purchasing a boat load of shares at these prices. However, I am reluctant based primarily on the fact that, even with AXC trading at historically low levels, there have been essentially no purchases by insiders. I realize that Bramson himself already owns a significant number of shares at a higher cost basis, yet one would think that he should have some spare change lying around to also average down with if he truly believed in the prospects for this company. There certainly haven't been any other insiders voting with their pocketbooks in the recent past either. Any comments or insights along these lines would be appreciated.
