LSI buys CUBE... $$ for HLIT?

.....
The transaction ends C-Cube's lengthy search for a buyer. In October 1999, C-Cube agreed to sell its Divicom subsidiary to fiber-optic equipment maker Harmonic Inc. for $1.46 billion and announced it would seek to spin off or sell its remaining semiconductor operations upon the close of the Harmonic deal.

At the time, C-Cube said the terms of the Divicom sale call for Harmonic to receive a share of the proceeds if C-Cube were to sell its remaining operations.
