Mucho, RE: Certainly some articles at the sites I mentioned greatly improved my understanding of Cisco's financials--an understanding I don't think I could have gained simply by looking at SEC filings myself, as I lack the accounting expertise. The articles and chat postings at grantsinvestor by Robert Tracy were particular helpful. I would note that Tracy is a CPA.

I guess the one thing I keep going back to is that CSCO's financial picture and their financial statements are a lot clearer than a whole host of other companies that essentially are intentionally trying to deceive investors. This goes on a whole lot than the SEC would like to admit. I haven't seen the actual intent to deceive at CSCO like I have in a whole host of other circumstances. In fact, when you look at CSCOs two largest competitors, LU and NT, there's a whole lot more fuzzy math there than at CSCO.
