Haim,

>>>> my point was that there was an intense public assault on the people were they were told that the old ways of valuation were not real in the "New Era" it was every were and my point is that it was even justified by members of the FED in their testimony before congress and also promoted by the now President of the US as an alternative to the meager returns in Social Security Funds. <<<<<

Where I draw the line, is if comments/decisions made were to manipulate or were they just mistakes, big mistakes. Im not going to attack an analyst who made a wrong call but gave no evidence of manipulation like pumping and dumping. The market will assess that firm, and if it doesnt improve it may start to loss money.

As for putting some blame on the FED/PRES, again my point is whether there was an alternative agenda. Many will say yes, unfortunately it will be hard to prove. So where does that leave us. I guess discussion like these are good to the extent that more and more may listen/be aware of the imperfections of our system.
