IBM and flat panels IBM placed a very expensive 3/4 page ad on the back of the Wall Street Journal "B" section today. It refers only to IBM flat panel displays and no other IBM product. The add talks about the usual issues of space saving, power saving, image quality, and "good looks". It lists 3 models-two 15.1" monitors for $849 and $899, and an 18.1" model for $2,699. The reason I post this is because its the first large, exclusive flat panel ad I have seen in the Wall Street Journal. Another good sign. Disc. Long GNSS and SAGI.
